Michael E. Dixon trusted in Christ May 23, 1967 at Indianapolis Baptist Temple, Indianapolis, IN. Greg Dixon (no relation) was the pastor, but “The Chaplain of Bourbon Street” Bob Harrington was preaching that evening.
Pastor M.E. Dixon has pastored churches in Indiana and California. Early in his ministry Brother Dixon was an evangelist, holding meetings in the Midwest, the South and the East; and he was an associate evangelist of Cecil Todd and Revival Fires, headquartered in Branson, MO. He also has had regular radio broadcasts in Indiana and Southern California, as well as a television ministry.
Richard Laue, our pastor’s pastor, used to say, “Soul winning is more caught than taught” and he “caught” the desire for soul winning from Brother Laue, Dr. Cecil Todd and other great soul winners like Dr. John R. Rice and Dr. Jack Hyles. Having searched God’s word daily for many years, he endeavors to communicate who God is and what God says. Dear to our pastor’s heart is to teach others how to study the Bible and seek truth for themselves.
