What is the greatest fall
How far would that be
Not far at all
If only . . . from a balcony
Or maybe I suppose
Some think this would kill
If I should fall so far
Down the steepest hill
Or maybe even yet
A building so very high
I’m sure my death would come
But is this the fall? . . . to die
This is not the greatest fall
Death won’t keep us apart
What would be worst of all
Is falling from my Savior’s heart
“. . . you have left your first love. Remember
therefore from where you have fallen, repent,
and do the first works, or else I will come to
you quickly and remove your lampstand from
it’s place . . . unless you repent.” (Rev 2:4-5)
Our lives are “hidden with Christ in God.” (Col 3:3)
“Set your mind on the things above, not on the
things that are on earth. (Col 3:2
